Coles Bay is a hub of Tourism on Tasmania's east coast; a
town on the east Coast of Tasmania located 192 km or 2hrs 20min drive, north east of Hobart and 209 km or app.
2hrs 30min drive south east of Launceston. Coles Bay is the main entrance point for visitors to the Freycinet National Park.
It has a population of about 500 people including the surrounding
area, but a large number of tourists visit the area for its beauty
and outdoor activities, which include hiking, biking, fishing,
boating and kayaking. Coles Bay is perhaps best known for its
magnificent beach Wineglass Bay. |
